Good afternoon 4th grade,
This was our first full week back from winter break and we are off to a fast start! We have been tearing through fraction concepts in math and will have an adding and subtracting fraction quiz on Friday next week (1/19/2018). In addition students have a project for the long weekend that will be due on Tuesday (1/16/2018). In reading we have completed our second novel, The Hatchet, and will have a final reading test on Wednesday (1/17/2018) next week. In addition we have a religion quiz coming up on Tuesday and an adjective test on Friday. I am excited to start our third novel in the coming weeks Where, The Red Fern Grows. In addition we will be beginning a book report assignment to encourage independent reading. I will send more information on that out at the end of next week.
